Reading and Leeds 2014: MUST SEE

It's officially under a week until 2014's Reading and Leeds festival. This will be my fourth year going and it is quite possibly the most excited I've been for it. Annoyingly, it has more artists playing that I like than ever before so there are gonna be tonnes of clashes, but here is a few of my must-see for the weekend!

letlive.
I think the only word that anybody has been able to describe letlive.'s live set as is INSANE. If a combination of ridiculously catchy but funkily heavy tunes and a crazy-ass yet cool front man is something that sounds intriguing to you then at letlive.'s set is the place you need to be. They're quickly becoming legendary in their live performances so take every opportunity you can to see them!

Marmozets
Female-fronted rock band, Marmozets are gaining a lot of Radio 1 press coverage at the moment. This means they're going to be big. It's obvious why though. Last year, their sound progressed to slightly more radio-friendly but certainly not enough to consider them "sell outs". Just listen to 'Move, Shake, Hide' and you'll be able to see why you'd need to see them.

Clean Bandit
Forget their massively famous song, Rather Be because Clean Bandit really are so much more than a one hit wonder. Their newest album 'New Eyes' is wonderfully diverse, a throwback at times and definitely innovative with their incorporation of their classical background. Make sure you get down early because guaranteed, the tent WILL be full.

Foster the People
Having also released a new album this year, Foster the People's setlist is (probably) going to be packed with the perfect summer playlist. Imagine their chilled out but upbeat music against the gradually fading sun. Quite potentially the highlight of the weekend.

Jimmy Eat World
I hate to admit this but I know that the main reason Jimmy Eat World ever draw in a large crowd at festivals is because of 'The Middle' and 'Bleed American'. Unfortunately, it's no longer 2001 and the huge hype that used to surround them has certainly disintegrated but this doesn't stop them absolutely KILLING it at every festival I've seen them at (Reading and Download). If you're going to see JEW then please please PLEASE do your revision and familiarise yourself with their other songs because they are just as good, if not, better live.

Are you going to R&L this year? Who are you excited to see?
